Australia, The land down under, has been sat in isolation for the last 33 million years and presents an ancient landscape generally unaffected by recent ice ages which formed the Northern Hemisphere's landscape. Aboriginal People came to Australia some where between 35000 to 60000 years ago, whilst Europeans did not discover it until the sixteen hundreds.

Photographs from two visits.

During 2007 I lived in Australia. Photographs from Perth and the South Western Australian Bush form two separate galleries, as this is where I was based during that time. Photographs from travelling up the Western Australian Coast after leaving Perth are included in this gallery.
Before coming to Perth on the Indian Pacific Railway we spent a month in Tasmania as well as visiting Adelaide and Melbourne.
In May 2005 I spent two weeks in Australia, during that time I visited Sydney, The Blue Mountains and Canberra.
