The Stirling Range is a gift to mountain starved Western Australia. The whole range stretches for 65km east to west. The most striking feature of the range is the sharpness of the main ridge. It was granted National Park status in 1913, the third park to be designated in WA.

Photographs from one visit.

In September 2007 we spent two days completing the Stirling Ridge Walk, one of the tougher treks in the range.
