This is the Smallest National Park in the country, but has an international reputation because of its golden sands and many Small coves. This makes it very popular. The Abel Tasman Coast has become a mecca for water sports enthusiasts as well as trampers and day trippers. The gentle countryside, easy accessibility and well maintained track network make it one of easiest places to tramp in the country.

Photographs from one visit.

In October 2006 we completed the Abel Tasman Coastal Trek, over three days. This was part of a big triangle of walks, which also included The Heaphy and Leslie Karamea Tracks.
